NUSADAILY.COM – JAKARTA – Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) presented a number of suggestions during the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination so that antibodies can be optimally formed.
“First, the body is maintained to be fit and fit. Good nutrient intake and metabolism will help the process of forming antibodies in the body to be good as well,” said Chairman of the General Board (PB) of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Daeng Mohammad Faqih in Jakarta, Monday.
Second, said Daeng, people need to make sure that there is no history of the disease that is counter-indication of vaccination.
The history of the disease in question includes severe allergies, as well as people experiencing immune-lowering conditions such as undergoing chemotherapy and organ transplantation.
The third is to comply with health protocols established by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure they are not infected with COVID-19.
“Stay compliant with health protocols to ensure they are not infected with COVID-19,” he said.
Daeng invites all parties to join the COVID-19 vaccination program which is given free of charge to approximately 70 percent of Indonesians.
“Alhamdulillah that this vaccine is declared safe, efficacious, effective, and declared sacred and halal,” he said.
Daeng M Faqih was one of the first participants in the COVID-19 vaccination with President Joko Widodo.
He said that the purpose of this vaccination is to establish immunity to each vaccine recipient so that it can prevent covid-19 infection.
Especially for doctors and health workers, if the immunity has been formed, it is expected to significantly reduce doctors and health workers who died due to COVID-19 infection. (ros)
