NUSADAILY.COM – JAKARTA – Kiss band bassist Gene Simmons announces his collaboration with Gibson to present the latest guitar and bass collection.

Reported by NME, Sunday, the collaboration named G² not only presents a collection of guitars and bass but also develops new entertainment content to be streamed globally.

G² will release thunderbird G² bass later this year, which has debuted on stage with Simmons recently during a Kiss New Year’s Eve concert in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Furthermore, Simmons and Gibson also have plans to release Flying V bass and Flying V guitars.

“When I hear Gibson’s vision and learn about their creative process, it makes sense for us to join forces to take things to the next level,” Simmons said in a statement.

“Gibson is an outstanding company and has earned its place as a leading guitar brand with fans around the world. These guitars and bass will all be made by hand, with a nice sound. The design is so beautiful and collectable because it is a work of art,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Cesar Gueikian, Gibson’s representative, revealed that the collaboration with Gene Simmons was not without reason. Simmons is considered the rock star of all time.

“When we first connected, we immediately engaged in interesting conversations about guitar, entertainment, and business. Our shared vision encourages and explores partnerships that will include developing instruments and creating new platforms to entertain and inspire a new generation of Gibson and Gene Simmons fans,” he said.
